Business process innovation consultant, Former Deputy Minister of Planning
Mostafa Ghaly started as an engineer and a serial entrepreneur, a characteristic that has a lasting impact. He has an MSC degree in Management of Technology from Nile university. His MSc work and projects nominated him to work for the Egyptian Ministry of Planning, where he became the deputy minister responsible for technology and innovation.
He initiated/guided a number of strategic digital transformation project that achieved total national coverage (Automation of the agricultural holdings and integrating them in the financial eco-system, the automation of the system for handling the national investment budget, the National spatial data infrastructure and the daily satellite imagery system for land monitoring and control).
Mostafa also has significant exposure to various approaches and systems from around the world, and a passion for transformation and finding new intersections that can enhance the impact national technology driven systems.
